BUFF 2021 Student Jury: in search of the next generation of film jurors
Calling all film students!
Fancy becoming a juror for this year’s British Urban Film Festival?
If you’re aged 18-21 and looking for something to do this summer, send us a 1 page A4 cover letter telling us why you’d like to be part of Britain’s biggest film festival for diversity – now on Apple TV!
Founded by Emmanuel Anyiam-Osigwe MBE, previous film jurors have included actress Kim Vithana, film critic Larushka Ivan-Zadeh and producer Charlie Hanson.
We’d also like you to review a film (good or bad) in 250 words. As part of your cover letter, we’ll also need a reference from your film tutor supporting your application.
Entries are free and open now. The deadline is 5.00pm, Friday 5 February 2021.
You must include a recent profile picture, email address, social media accounts, and a contact number. You must be available to watch and review up to 30 films across a 3 month period. This will also include written summaries and participation in Zoom sessions with other jury members.
