Synopsis: From the kitchen of her suburban London house, HAYLEY listens fearfully as her boyfriend PAUL and his mate ROB beat on IAN in the next room. Members of a far-right gang, they suspect Ian of grassing to the police about their involvement in the murder of a Polish immigrant. Hayley intervenes but is pushed back.

Hayley meets up with ADI, her police handler, and begs him to intervene before Ian gets killed. He says he will if she she’ll testify against the gang. She goes off – none of this would have happened if the Polish had just spoken English, her country being overtaken by immigrants.

In trepidation, Hayley goes home. Ian is bloodied but alive. She urges him to go to the police. He storms out – he’s not a grass. Hayley is alone with Paul, terrified of what might happen next.
